Hello. I've been a family search member for years however I'm new to this group. I wanted to know if there was anyone that specializes in researching African American families. The parents were born in 1853 n 1864. I believe they were children born into slavery. I need help with Missouri freedman records n searching census records, etc. Would there be anyone that would be interested inassisting me? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Hello, My hobby is visiting thrift stores and looking for old photos. I found one with 4 little children and their names on the back. The Photo Card says Ossian, Iowa TT Oglae, I think. The names of the children are Annie, Halvor, Ole and Gustie. Just wanted to put this out there so maybe someone might see it and know of these children. I am going back to the store I where purchased this one and see if any of the other pictures in the bunch, have any clues.
