Planner
Help, what has happened to the planner? My planner used to show all the people I have helped in the past. It contained all the research plans I have made for various people in our ward and stake. Many, many hours of research! Even though the member's access may have expired, I often go back to those plans in trying to rekindle, energize or help the members. Now, I only have 17 expired accounts listed!!!!!
Help! May they be restored, please. If you have given notice that this deletion would occur, I must have missed it. Had I known, I would have printed all the plans and filed them for future use.

I have used the planner for years. It has been an incredible tool for helping the members of my ward and stake. My problem was that to begin with, when I started using it, the lesson plans I created for the members did not disappear from my expired list. I do not know when that was put in place, but somehow I missed that feature. When I began, I thought to print the plans out and make a paper file or an online file, but I was told (don't know by whom), that the plans remained. So, I was not aware that they would be removed.
Each plan contained hours of research I had done, with detailed instructions to recreate the trail for adding the relatives to their tree. Each person I helped had several plans I created. I found that some members were very difficult to meet with; work schedules, family circumstances, mission calls etc. Sometimes it would take a couple of years or more before we finally got together for a one-on-one. I would check my plan to make sure it was still as valid, print out two copies and sit down with the member and help him/her follow the steps and add a relative or more to their tree. We would usually have a powerful spiritual experience in doing so.
My lament is that I missed the notice about the plans falling off. I just wish the cleanup feature for expired access was not so final. I wish some input from consultants who diligently use the planner had been considered. I wish the expired access list would stay put, with all the effort put into it remaining. To have to start over (and from now on) filing all my plans elsewhere, is disheartening to say the least.
Since the planner also served as a contact list, I am glad I have at least retained my little black book with information for some of those who would welcome my help from time to time. I do not have to totally recreate the wheel. I could cry, not only for the missing plans, but also for all the missing people that now may wait a lot longer to be found again and added to the tree for their ordinances.

I am so sorry that this happened.. Those Missing people possibly could aid you in your work through prayer I bet :) I didn't know about the planner.. so this is a good tool for others to know about.. ..

@Carole McIntyre Interestingly, when I look at my planner, the plans I created for individuals for whom my access has expired are gone. But some old ones I created some 6 years ago to use as demos when teaching unit consultants how to use the planner (and therefore not tied to a specific person) are still there.
I agree that this change is not a wonderful thing! I assume the feeling was that we would be focused on the folks we currently have on our help lists and not need the older plans. But, like you, I have often had folks I helped in the past who need help again and get re-added to my list. I'd really like to be able to see the plans I used with them before without having to create my own file of the info.
