I don't exactly recall why I joined. I assume to report some site bug but I think I reported all the ones on my list.
But…. There is this one longstanding issue but I don't have a sample prepared. It's the issue where I can't get records to appear in search results unless I clear the Birth Place and Birth Year.
As in: My search terms can exactly match the record data - but the resulting record will not show, period. If I delete the birth terms, pOoF! Result! If I copy/paste data from the actual record, it won't show in a search until the birth fields are cleared.
I'm pretty sure this isn't me. It's been happening for at least 4 years but I think it happens less often now.
I'll get some sample searches together to show you. Hopefully by Aug.
