Hello,

I noticed when searching in Sullivan county, Tennessee. Records from Hamilton and Anderson county were showing up.

This link should show what’s happening:

https://www.familysearch.org/search/full-text/results?count=20&q.text=land&c.recordPlace1=on&f.recordPlace0=10&c.recordPlace2=on&f.recordPlace1=10%2CTennessee&c.recordPlace3=on&f.recordPlace2=10%2CTennessee%2CSullivan

Here's an example that might help investigate place filters problems.

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/full-text/results?count=100&q.text=%2B%22aaron%20roggen%22

In this case it appears that a couple of the sub-filter place filters for New York are duplicates

The Chenango and Greene county filters generate the same results list [all from Greene County]. The same can be found for Monroe and Orange County where the Orange County filter returns an image from Monroe County

    Hope that helps

This is not always wrong. It is how I discovered that ancestors living in Indiana were part of a probate case that started in Pennsylvania; ended in the same place 40 years later that had since become Ohio. That was an extraordinary probate case and in the ensuing years the family spread out, 2 additional generations of heirs were born and the boundaries changed.

In the end I found the gold at the end of the rainbow when a court document had to explain everyone's relationship to the deceased.
