Why was adding people changed?
When I created my first family group about a month ago, I was able to send invitations to anyone in my family, including nieces and nephews, etc. Now I have to add them to the family tree before I can invite them. Why did this change? This is going to be more work this way I think. I have cousins I've invited who are not active in the church, so I will need to get them added myself before I can send them an invitation. Or is there any way around this?

From what I understand, if you create a group without selecting the option to create a tree with it, anyone can be invited. However, it could be nice to be able to invite people to a group with a tree even when they aren't already in the tree.

@DanetteBennett Please note that the invitation process for Family Group Trees has been changed. You can now create a single invitation that you can send to all family members. Administrators will need to approve those members requesting admittance and each individual will need to choose their 'Starting Person' in the Family Group Tree. Each living profile can have only one group member linked to it. You cannot link to deceased profiles.
