In the year 1812, on the 9th of February, at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, after, according to the official proclamation [banns] certificate of 24 January 1812, B. P. N. 177, the banns were read twice, that is on Sunday, 26 January 1812 and on Sunday, 2 February 1812, without any objection, in Neuenheim, were legally blessed in marriage in the house of Georg Dörsam, citizen and vintner:

Johann Georg Hess, unmarried citizen in Neuenheim, legitimate son of the citizen, vintner, member of the court, and reformed church elder Mr. Friedrich Hess and his wife Maria Barbara nee Dickhaut, 33 years old, and

Catharina Elisabetha nee Dörsam, legitimate unmarried daughter of Georg Dörsam, citizen and vintner, and his wife Katharina Margaretha nee Gross, 30 years old.

Witnesses to the marriage were: Mr. Bernhard Frisch, grand ducal steward in Neuenheim, 63 years old, and Christian Reinhart, married citizen and master tailor in Neuenheim, 50 years old.

On the 9th of February 1812, after having the banns called on 24 January, 26 January and 2 February and no resulting objections, were married in the house of the citizen and vinedresser/vine gardener of Neunheim Georg Dörsam:

Johann Georg Hess, a single citizen of Neunheim and legitimate son of the citizen, vine gardener, lay member of the court or juryman and former church elder Herr Friedrich Heß and his wife Maria Barbara née Dickhaut, age 33 years and

Catharina Elisabetha born Dörsam, legitimate single daughter of Georg Dörsam, citizen and vine gardener of Neunheim and his wife Catharina Margaretha born Groß, age 30 years

The witnesses of the marriage were: Herr Bernhard Frisch, ducal constable of Neunheim age 63 years and Christian Reinhard, citizen and master tailor of Neunheim age 50 years.
