New Family Groups Function Does Not Work for Non Church Members
Perhaps this was your plan but it would be appreciated if all could use this new feature.
Did I make a mistake using this web application for my family history?
Note: I can create a group but the slide button for "Allow this group to work together in a family group tree" is not available, so this makes the group useless.

Hi @combblai
I have it working and am not a church member. I didn't try to change an existing group, but created 3 new ones and all seem to be working as expected.

@combblai It is going to work for everyone.
First question: Are you sure you went to the labs page ( https://www.familysearch.org/labs/ ) and turned on the experiment? If you have not, you will not get the slider.
Second question: Are you working on the web page or in the mobile app? In the first phase of beta-testing, the mobile app was missing the slider but I thought they would have gotten that fixed.

@Gordon Collett I think labs are only working in the web, but not in the app.
Edit: Except for images. Now I can see the photos that uploaded my mother and that are available into the family group.

I don't see anywhere that you can turn lab experiments on or off in the web, but once you have turned on Family Groups from the website the feature is present in the app:

Going into the labs page ( https://www.familysearch.org/labs/ ) and turning on the experiment did the trick and all is working now. I watched multiple presentations from RootsTech but missed this as a requirement.
Thanks Gordon!
