Translation request: baptism record
This is for Anton Brach b. 12 Mar 1821 in Herschbach, Westerwaldkries. I am interested in a translation of all the text, especially information on his parents and godparents.
The Matricula link is here, to see the priest's handwriting in a larger context:

Hi,
I think the word "Amt" here does not mean office but probably a group of communities with a common administration. Herschbach was part of the "Amt Selters". There is a map of the area in the wikipedia article.
Kind regards

Thank you both so much! I have one more baptism record, for Anton's nephew. I will post it next, and hope you can also translate this.

Thanks, John, this is truly wonderful. I really appreciate your translation services.
If you have time for one more, it's an inventory associated with the 1865 death of Anton Brag in Herschbach. I am just curious what the inventory contents are; I think the rest of the pages might deal with estate taxes. It can be found in the "Images" on FamilySearch for Herschbach... the only image, in fact!

Hello Celeste,
I am having trouble opening this record. Can you paste the URL into the body of your request?
Thanks, John

The Community mangles links that are given their own line. The corrected link is https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSK8-NZR2-F?view=explore&groupId=M9XQ-BV7&grid=on. If you find links like the box above you can correct it by substituting a colon : for the first three occurrences of %3A.

That link works, thank you!
Hope you can see the document now, John.
