I am seeking a translation of this marriage record for Johann Ludwig Knauss son of Johann Lucas Knauss and Anna Margaretha Gerlach daughter of Johann Hennrich Gerlach. I can read the names, dates, and Bible verse, but nothing else. The record is from Archion.de from

Düdelsheim, Hesse. I have not found a Bible verse in German records before this one. I love it!

den 16. Feb: hat Johann Ludwig Knauß, Lucas Knaußen, Einwohners alhir ehl: Sohn, mit Anna Margretha weyl. Joh Henrich Gerlachs gewesenen einwohners alhir ehl: Tochter Hochzeit gehalten. Der Gott des Bundes vermähle diese Seele mit ihm im Blut des Bundes, des Herrn mit allen Heiligen zu erkennen, zu lieben und zu fürchten in ewigkeit. Hosea 2 v. 19. 20.

Translation:

On16 February Johann Ludwig Knauss, legitimale son of Lucas Knauss, local resident, held wedding with Anna Margretha, legitimate daughter of the late Joh[ann] Henrich Gerlach, former resident here. May the God of the covenant wed this soul to him in the blood of the covenant, to know, love and fear the Lord with all the saints for ever. Hosea 2 v. 19. 20.

Comment: The Bible verse seems not to be the standard wording of the Luther Bible.
