Now that most of us are under some type of stay at home order or practicing social distancing how ar
Why not create a Family Narrative. Write down a set of questions about yourself eg. what is my favorite color, where were my parents from, where did I go to school, what kind of ice cream do I like, what did I want to be when I grew up, when is my anniversary, etc. Give copies of your questions to your family members or other friends and have each of them write down their answers. Sit down with those who might be present or video conference with those that aren't and hear their responses and then share the correct answers. Have other members do the same thing.
You have now begun your own Family Narrative, you have found a way to be connected or
reconnected with your family. Don't forget to write your Narrative down and make it part of your Family History. Don't be afraid to create your own way to connect, reconnect and stay connected.

Wahoo! You might also look at FamilySearch Blog: 52 Questions in 52 Weeks, in fact if you search the Blog for '52' you will find a ton of questions that can get you, your grandchildren, or your whole family going on writing your own story. With the Memories app you can talk-to-text or save as audio and attach to yourself all in one process! How much fun!
I looked through the 52Stories for questions that would start memories in our family. We put them all in a hat and then went around the room pulling out one question at a time. I videoed whoever had the question to answer, but of course others chimed in with their memories of a specific incident or family joke. Lots of fun videos from that Family Home Evening! And lots of memories recalled!
