I found the death record for Isabella (Elisabeth) Coppens here: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/6
I also have her marriage to Livinius Schouppe, also in Haalert and believe I have her birth in Haalert on 9 Aug 1708. However, if I'm reading her death record correctly, she is listed as being formerly from Nieuwererken (which is near Haalert). I checked the church records for Nieuwererken and, while there are plenty of Coppens, I couldn't find Elisabeth or her parents Jacobus Coppens and Judoca Coppens (yes, same surname). Is this normal? There could be a number of reasons .First,Haalert=Haaltert, and Nieuwererken+Nieuwerkerken(previous Nieuwerkercke etc) see link.
https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nieuwerkerken_(Oost-Vlaanderen)
You will also see that it has(had) some dependency's called wijken, like burroughs, and some were even small hamlets bordering Erpe-Mere/but not always they had a census or a mayor, they depend on another municipality or burrough.
You will find most of them on the link above(some do not exist anymore)
so if you are lucky they are born in one of...etc.
Secondary reason to your question, they could be from another parish in the same municipality.
Tertiary reason, not everyone was Catholic , or even Protestants,or theistic inspired...
Where you could perform your research, would be in the Catalogue here on the forum,
Nieuwekerke, Aalst. (not Haaltert), if you are lucky their years are included in the
batches.
