(Image 48 1st entry) Anna Ullman and Joseph Prochazka’s marriage record
Screenshot below is a translation of the record if that helps.
Hi
I'm geographically challenged.
The phrase in question is:
ze vsi Chřič č.., bývalěho panství Chřič rakovnického nyni v Čechách okres Královice.
Chřič is a village and Královice is the district. The rest is a mystery.
Can anyone help me, please.
Thank you!
Martha

Dorota Veselá is from the village of CHŘÍČ (ze vsi Chříč), number unknown. Formerly Manor CHŘÍČ (bývaleho panství Chříč). Formerly in Rakovník region (This region stopped existing in the year 1849) now in the Pilsen region in Bohemia. District of Královice.
What this means is that the village Chříč used to be a part of the Rakovník region. That stopped existing in 1849 so in 1857 it would be: village Chříč, district Královice, Pilsen region, Bohemia.

Hi Lucia
Why didn't they just say that?
Thank you! It clears things up for me.
My genealogy partner was a walking gazetteer, but Mom died over a year ago.
You're awesome!
