Whilst waiting for comments, I looked up Eduárd Jr.'s baptism.
His father was a Knihařský pomocník, a bookbinder's assistant or helper.
The "S" now looks more like a "B" for Buchbinderg(esellin)., assistant bookbinder.
I'll take the credit for partially answering my own question.
Awaiting comments on the handwritten notes in the No. and Namen boxes at the top.

@A Xo There's nothing there on his character. Whoever wrote the entries, completely ignored that.
This is what else it says:
Namen/Name: Reitmayer Eduard
Geburtsjahr/ Year of Birth: 1865
Geburts-Ort / Place of Birth: Klattau
Heimatschein (The document whence they got all this information): (presumably issued on) 14.4.1884, Klattau
First Wife: Amalie née Streje (1865 – 19.2.1912)
Son: Eduard (born on 3. August 1891)
Second Wife: Marie née Braun (born in 1883); they got married on June 9th, 1913 in Janoviesch (possibly Janovic nad Úhlavou which is located near Klattau)

I finally figured out what the notation says:
Sm(íchov). früher in ℔ 185/III
Thanks to all.
To the policeman, character meant that he was gainfully employed as an assistant bookbinder.
The Heimatschein is the (home) certificate of (family) origin, which E.R. presented upon moving to Malá Strana, Prague.
Z. 14 may mean Zahl 14, meaning (document) number 14.
Can anyone make out the two letters in the Heimatschein box at the top right? Are they "G" and "A"?
I think that that means Gemeinde Amtsbezirk, Council of the Administrative District of Klattau (nowadays Klatovy), the authority that issued the Heimatschein.
