census records search?
What am I missing? I cannot find where the census list is where you can search through them to check the records one page at a time. going into individual districts, it can't be gone as it is too valuable to be able to do that, I am certain it is has just been moved to where I cannot find it. Help! Please?
edit:
I cannot even find anywhere to just index search census only. I am only interested in looking through the images of the census in a couple of districts. I know for a fact not everything is indexed because I have found too many in the past that could not be found by index but I found them through a visual search

This doesn't belong here in the New Person Page group, but as far as I know, nobody can move posts between Groups and Categories, so I'll just answer it here.
Which census? If you go to Search - Records and type "census" into the Find A Collection search box, you get hundreds of choices from all over the globe and multiple centuries.
If you type a bit more detail into that box, you'll get a shorter list and can go to your desired census collection page. For example, here's the one for the 1950 United States census: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/4464515
Click the "Browse All NNN images" button to go to the waypointed version, where you can choose a state, county, and district to browse. The 1950 census uses the new version of this, which I find annoyingly overhelpful, but it does (eventually) work.
You can also do a search by name and filter that search to a specific census collection, or to census records in general. One way to filter to a specific collection is to use Find A Collection from the Search - Records landing page, as described above. Another way is to initiate a search using the box at the top of Search - Records, and then click the gray Collections bubble above your search results. If your search terms were found in census records, then one of the categories will be "Censuses & Lists". Click the top option, "All Censuses & Lists Collections", to filter your results to censuses.
A third option is to restrict your search by type. On the Search - Records landing page, click More Options and scroll down to the bottom, then click "Type" under Add Record Options. Click the "Census, Residence, and Lists" checkbox to restrict your search to these types of records.

No, nothing has changed here due to the introduction of the new page, so I am also confused as to why you have posted your issue here.
Regardless, the method of filtering on census records is the same as it has been so quite some time now. As illustrated below, after clicking on "Collection" (towards the top left on the Results page) you have the option to search on all of the census collections listed, or to select just one, or whichever might be appropriate to what / where is relevant to the search:
Just check the boxes that relate to your search, then "Apply collection filter", and all results outside of these collections will disappear.

I posted here because the records search page is completely different from what I have ever seen and it made sense to me to ask here. I didn't figure to it would be a seen as such a sin to ask about a new page on a new page forum, my goodness!
mods, don't bother warning me, I won't be back here, I see so much hate and pure meanness on this forum it is pitiful

No moderators have warned you about anything and the two users that have answered your question have been respectful and given as good of answers as possible based on your original information, as do most user here in this forum. There was nothing inappropriate, rude, or hateful in suggesting that the people behind this group about the new Person Page were not the best ones to answer about a new Search Page, and suggesting that your question fit better in the Search category under FamilySearch Help.
However, now that you have clarified that your question is actually about the new coat of paint on the Location Research Pages, which also are not part of the new Person Pages, and really doesn't have anything new beyond its appearance, here is how you find the census collection images you asked about:
In the section labeled Indexed Historical Records, go to the bottom of that box and click "See All United States of America Collections." That will take you to a page that lists all 145 record collections that cover the entire United States such as the Federal Census records. Just scroll through these until you find the collection you want and go from there to get to the spot where you browse the images:
It actually cuts out a step to use the Find A Collection search box rather than the Search by Place box that you used to get to the image you posted. The Search By Place is a great resource to start getting acquainted with available datasets and information on a specific location, but if you know what collection you want, you can go directly there.
