What I have taken from this record:

1. Marriage date- 7 Nov 1740
2. Groom- Joannes Jacobus Scheel
3. Grooms parents- Ludovici Scheel of Erfweiler and Anna Catharina
4. Bride- unmarried Margaretha Schaudin
5. Bride's parents- Jacobi Engel and Apollonia
6. Witnesses- Jacobus Engel and Christophorus Engel of Fischbach

Please, correct anything that I have translated incorrectly and add anything I have missed. I am not certain about the witness section. Is that last name mentioned the officiant?

Hello Steve,

you interpreted the record correctly. I have only some small additions:

• the name of the groom's father would be Ludovicus Scheel (Ludovici is the Latin genitive = "of Ludovicus", his original German name is probably Ludwig)
• his occupation is civis et scabinus = citizen and juryman
• similarly the name of the bride's father is Jacobus Engel; he is also the first witness (pater sponsae = the bride's father)
• The last name N. Emanuel Neuhauss is the pastor for Fischbach and Bruchweyler (h.(ic) l.(ocus) parochus in Fisbach et Bruchweyler)
