Question about meaning of occupation

The source is from FamilySearch: Tauf-Rodel, Staatsarchiv Bern, K Kirchdorf 3. The baptism record is on page 120, year 1777, entry 15, for Jost Küenzi. I don't need help with the translation except I was wondering what the meaning could be of witness Hans Küenzi's occupation Obmann (chairman).
