Translation Help Please - Remarks on 1853 Marriage Record for Lehker (Hannover, Osnabrück)

Location is Hannover, Kirchenkreis Osnabrück, St. Katherinen Kirche, Page 14, Item 22
In the Bemerkungen column (2nd from right) it is noted that the bride's first husband was Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Lehker who died 7 Jan 1851. Her birth was illegitimate. Please help with transliteration and translation of the remaining three words. Thank you.

The last three words in the remarks column are: später aber legimirt (should properly be legitimi(e)rt) = but later legitimized.

Thank you, Ulrich, for your quick response. This clarification helps me to understand why she was given the name Beins at her baptism but used the name of the person her mother married (zur Welle or zur Wellen) on other records. On her baptism record another man with the name Redeker is named by the mother as the biological father. Do you know if there was a procedure in the church or otherwise during that time period for legitimizing a person in this kind of circumstance and where I might look into it further? I appreciate any further insights you might offer.

@Joy Curtin Legitimation was usually done by marriage. I'd suggest taking a look at marriage records of that time, see if the parents married later.

I am not aware of a specific procedure for legitimizing a child in the time period before registry offices (Standesamt) were introduced in the 1870s. I have seen remarks in church books where the paternity of a child born out of wedlock was acknowledged by the father either at the baptism or when the he later married the mother. In your case the alleged father seems to be different from the later husband, so if this is true the husband could strictly speaking only adopt her (not legitimize).

Thank you both very much for your insights. I checked the 1824 marriage record (attached) of the Beins woman with the Zur Wellen man and there is no mention of a child being legitimized or adopted. Since the alleged father's name was provided by the mother on the child's baptism record, I will record him as the father with an explanation as provided by Ulrich.
