Trying to find Gastrow, West Prussia
I'm trying to locate a village called Gastrow in West Prussia in the mid 1800s.
In a 1842 Stettin marriage record for Carl Ferdinand August Bahr it says he was from Gastrow and has been in Stettin for 5 1/2 years. Carl was actually born in Groß Peterkau, Schlochau, West Prussia. I'm guessing Gastrow is probably somewhere between Groß Peterkau and Stettin but I cannot locate it or find any reference to it anywhere (I did find one old reference listing several towns in "East and West Prussia" that received funding from Frederick II in 1785 that included funding for a dye house in Gastrow.)
If anyone has any clues as to where this Gastrow is located it would be very much appreciated!
Here is the marriage record ( entry 42)

Thank you Robert. I had in my mind that it was Gastrow so that is what I saw. But it is clearly Jastrow.
