Can you help translate Solingen death record for Isaac Müller?
From an 1809 marriage record, I learned that Isaac Müller's spouse was Anna Catharina Hartkopf and his parents were Abraham Müller and Anna Gertraut Knecht. Does his death record say if any were alive or deceased? Does it mention occupations or cities? Other people? I see the name "Peter Müller". Who is he? Isaac's 1809 marriage record gives his age as 40. Does this document say he was 66? Are there any other useful bits of information in this death record? https://www.landesarchiv-nrw.de/data02/Abt_Rheinland/PA_2104/~043/04320/LAV_NRW_R_PA_2104_04320_0079.jpg

Hello @Gary Knecht,
Peter Müller is the mayor of the community of Solingen. The following translation should answer your questions:
Number 72.
[Left margin]: Death of Isaac Müller.
In the year 1835, on the 22nd of June in the morning at 11:00 am appeared before me Peter Müller, _______? mayor of the community of Solingen: the shoemaker Peter Hepp, 38 years old, and the knife? worker Abraham Werner, 47 years old, both residing in Solingen, with the notice that Isaac Müller, husband of Anna Catharina Hartcopf, 65 years old, born at Wald in the marriage of the deceased couple Johann Abraham Müller and Anna Gertrud Knecht, died the day before yesterday, Saturday, the 20th of this month in the evening at 11:00 pm in his apartment at Solingen on the Johannesstraße.
After reading the informants and the mayor signed.
Peter Höpp | Abr. Werner | Müller [mayor].

Thank you very much, @Robert Seal_1 -- I assume Anna Catharina Hartkopf is still living, but is it possible to confirm this? I will keep looking for her death record....

Hello Gary,
Yes, I agree with your assumption. I would interpret the record as indicating that Anna Catharina (Hartkopf) Müller is still living at the time of Isaac Müller's death even though this is not explicitly stated in the record. Usually Isaac would be identified as a widower if Anna Catharina were already deceased and/or Anna Catharina herself would be identified as "deceased" or "late".
