Are the 2 persons likely same?
Please note family tree PID L1CR-4H2, Heinrich Algermissen. He married in 1827. Wife died 1828 in connection with birth of first child. In his sources is marriage record. If you go to that record then go to next page there is another Riks algermissen married 1829. Having a new child he may have remarried soon. Does it look like these may be same person? Thank you. Hello Deniese,
I could see "Riks" as a nickname for the second syllable in "HeinRICH".
I looked at both the Nov 1828 birth record of the daughter Maria Elisabeth Algermissen and the Nov 1853 marriage record of the bride Maria Elisabeth Algermissen and they both have the same parents and the same birthdate.
So, I would agree with you that Heinrich Algermissen and Riks Algermissen are one and the same person.

Both marriage records Sept 1827 and Feb 1829 are consistent with being the same person and with matching the July 1797 baptism record of Heinrich Algermissen, son of Heinrich Algermissen.
The Sept 1827 record shows a single man, Riks Algermissen, age 30, whose is father is Riks Algermissen, a Kotter here.
The Feb 1829 record shows a widower man, Riks Algermissen age 31, whose is father is Riks Algermissen, a Kotter here.
It appears that all records are in the same parish church.
You would want to check to make sure there are no other Heinrich/Riks Algermissen of the same age, and with the same fathers name in that village but it seems very unlikely that the two marriages are different men.

Thank you for both responses to my question. Now I can work on finding possible children with 2nd wife.
