Help with very difficult 1651 death record
Can anyone help reading any words in this very difficult 1651 Ellmendingen death record? According to the familienregister, Erhard Deeg , "Leutnant" died 2 May 1651. All I can get is a forename beginning with "E" at the end of the first line, and what looks like it could be "Deegen" and "Leutnant" in the second line. Perhaps a place called "Voitland" in the third line? Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Hello @campbellroots
This record is indeed very hard to read. I can offer only a few "guesses". I am not fully sure about the "Leutnant". Maybe other volunteers can correct and fill in:
d 2 May stirbt undt ward begraben E_d Deg__, ___discher Leutnant? auß _ H_f_auß Voitland welcher sich hie nider?gelaßen. Stiffet? __ Silb__kelch? undt __ __ __ __?
(Elements of) Translation:
On 2 May dies and was buried E_d Deg__, __ian Lieutenant? from __ Voitland who settled here? Stiffet? __ Silb__kelch? and __ __ __ __?
