translation of 2 words
I don't know what the word under Johannes' name is or the word after entschlieff .
It is entry number 4 on the left side in the year 1728. The person is Johannes Speiser who died in Kehl, Baden, Germany.
I think the main entry says, "21 Feb passed away ????? and Johannes Speiser, a man of good merit of his age, well registered under churchwarden and honorable magistrate here.
Thank you, Terry

Hello @TerryCarlson
The word under Johannes is his surname Speiser (apparently added later by another hand). As you correctly assume "entschlieff" is an euphemistic term for "starb" (=died), literally fell asleep (passed away).
Full transcription:
21 entschlieff sanft u. seelig Johannes Speiser wohlverordneter Kirchenpfleger und ehrsamer Gerichtsman allhier, ein man von guten meriten seines alters
Translation:
On 21 Johannes Speiser, a well-appointed churchwarden and honorable court judge here, a man of good merit of his age, passed away gently and blessedly.
