Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today for the purpose of marriage:
(1) the farmer Karl Friedrich Besier, personally known, born 28 December 1893 at Bärstadt, Birth Register no. 46 at the Civil Registration Office in Bärstadt, residing in Bärstadt;
(2) Marie Margarethe Höhn, without occupation, personally known, born 30 August 1903 at Bärstadt, Birth Register no. 41 of the Civil Registration Office in Bärstadt, residing in Bärstadt.

Witnesses were brought in and appeared:
(3) the farmer Christian Schneider, personally known, 49 years old, residing in Bärstadt;
(4) the farmer Johann Friedrich Besier, personally known, 24 years old, residing in Bärstadt.
The civil registrar addressed the question to the engaged couple one by one: whether they want to marry each other. The betrothed answered this question in the affirmative and hereupon the civil registrar said: that they are now a legally married couple by virtue of the civil code.
Read aloud, approved, and signed: Karl Friedrich Besier; Marie Margarethe Besier, née Höhn; Christian Schneider; Johann Friedrich Besier.
