Can't figure out this name in 1730 birth record
Three questions on this 1730 birth record in Mühlhofen in the Pfalz.
- Suggestions for the name of the sponsor husband to the child's namesake Maria Barbara? It looks like 'Kiechen Pltester'. There are Pfeiffers in the area recorded as Pfeisters, but I haven't seen this version.
- The indexers transcribed the month as November, but I think the month is 'Xbris' not '9bris'. What do you think?
- Did I get the 'E.' correct as 'Euer' The Honourable? Thanks!

Hello Tom,
Your questions:
(1) Suggestions for the name of the sponsor husband to the child's namesake Maria Barbara? It looks like 'Kiechen Pltester'. There are Pfeiffers in the area recorded as Pfeisters, but I haven't seen this version.
Answer: What is written is "Kirchen Eltester" = church elder. Thus Johann Adam Zimpelmann is of the court here and a church elder, and his wife is Maria Barbara.
The indexers transcribed the month as November, but I think the month is 'Xbris' not '9bris'. What do you think?
Answer: I agree with you that the date is 25ten Xbris = 25th of December.
Did I get the 'E.' correct as 'Euer' The Honourable?
I read that abbreviation as a stylized "Hl" which I have been told by various sources either means "praiseworthy", "honorable", or "Herr", So your "honourable" is fine here.

You're welcome, Tom. I think you are doing very well transcribing and translating some very challenging records. The fact that you provide both when you ask your question is very helpful to the person responding to your request.

@Robert Seal_1 Thanks for the continued encouragement! I am able to do about 2 of every 5 transcriptions/translations on my own now, but the other 3 always seem to have a new twist that I need help on! But I'm gaining momentum!
