How to handle duplicate sources

I am trying to figure out how to fix duplicate sources.

Some options are to not worry about it and leave the duplicates there's or delete the duplicates.

In many cases a source is added to multiple individuals rather than linked.

If I go in and find the sources that have unfinished attachments to all of the people and link them it can create duplicate sources.

Looking for suggestions or best practice.

Quite often duplicate sources will show as hints. Whether or not they do, in my view, they should be linked to the correct people to minimise the risk of them being attached to someone else.
