Help with clarification: Is Mary Elisabeth Hammer the same person in 2 documents
Hi,
I have attached the marriage record of Johann David Schulze and Mary Elisabeth Hammer and what I think is the birth/baptism record for Mary Elisabeth Hammer. Can you tell if the father in these two records is the same person? Birth is the first listed on page 1. Marriage is the first listed in column one on the 2nd page.
Thanks, Myke Rachu

In the marriage record of year 1814 the bride (whose name can be Marie Elisabeth Hammer) is 30 years old, i.e., born 1784. The birth/baptism record is of the year 1789. So it seems that these are two different Marie Elisabeth Hammer.

Thanks,
One other document that I have for Marie Elisabeth Hammer is her death/burial record. Her death date was 23 Feb 1825 and she was 36 y/1m/21 days. Calculating her birth with this information gives her birth as 26 Dec 1788. That is why I looked in 1788 for her birth.
My direct line is Johann David Schulze and Marie Elisabeth Hammer. Her death/burial record says she is the wife of David Schulze. He went by David in some of the births for this couple.
Any comments?

The dates in the birth/baptism record are 25 Dec 1788 (birth) and 8 Jan 1789 (baptism). So this is in agreement with the death record.
The age given in the marriage record of 6? May 1814 is clearly 30 J [years]; so either this is a mistake by the scribe or it is a different Marie Elisabeth Hammer.
