Franciscus Joerger - Baptism Record - Translation Enquiry
Hello all,
I would like to aks the groups help in translating a baptism record from the 1700s for an ancestor named Franciscus Joerger. I believe the record is in Latin script which I can not read and would appreciate a translation into english and a transcription in the original language. The record is a tabled record with columns titled "Dies Mens" "Parentes" "Patrini" "Mstr."
The funtion of the columns and what they contain I am not sure. I would appreciate translation help.
Lastly, I believe the entry for Franciscus is the one labeled "27 Maty"
Thank you much,
Masaki

@MasakiTakeda1 The word "villicus" (used to describe his occupation) means bailiff/prefect/overseer (a kind of legal officer).

KamillaKovacs3,
Thank you much for translating this record. I appreciate it alot. If it is not too much trouble may I ask what an overseer's job description may have been at this time?
Much metta,
Masaki
