Henry Francis Wagner
I hope someone can help me, I am looking for information on my Step-Grandfather Henry Francis Wagner, B: 1916 Plc: Germany D: 1987 Plc: Douglas, Isle of Man.
He married my Nana in Gina Jessie Sayle B: 1922 Douglas, Isle of Man D: 1991 Douglas, Isle of Man they married in June 1965
I have this information on my Family Search Tree & my Wikitree Family Tree, also my cousin has this on his Ancestry Tree.
I'd like to know more about his Germany connection! With his DOB and the place where he was born, his parents names and Dobs and Does and places, and did he have siblings.
I was told a story about him that he defected from the German Army, and worked as an interpreter for the British Army when they captured German Soldiers.
Any information would be very greatful....

Unfortunately Baerbelj I don't, the information about him was relayed to me by my brother.
Think I will have to pick my brother's brain matter to find out. Lol

Have you been able to get a copy of his death record/certificate and their marriage record? I think these will be very important. Since these are fairly recent they are hopefully available from whatever authority keeps these records in Middle. Either might contain a date of birth and location of birth. They might even give his parents names.
