Translation Request - Maria Anna Jorger - Christening Record
Hello All,
I would like to request translation help for a set of records concerning an ancestor, Maria Anna Jorger's Christening record. The record features her parents, Franz Jorger and Caterina Baumann. However it is in Latin script and I am unable to decipher it. The parents are featured on one page and the child on another. Therefore I am attaching both pages. I believe I have located where the three people are in the document and so I am attaching a cropped photo with the entry I believe to be the proper people. If anyone thinks that these are not the people I would appreciate it if help could be provided to find and translate the proper entry for Maria Anna Jorger, Franziscus (Franz) Jorger and Caterina Baumann. Also attached is an index of the people listed in the document. While I tried to find the entry for Maria Anna and her parents in this, I can not make out which entry belongs to Maria Anna Jorger and her parents. I would appreciate a translation if possible. Last note, Jorger is spelt with an umlauted o. I am unable to type one though.
I understand this request may be asking alot but would greatly appreciate the help if anyone is willing.
Much metta,
Masaki

@MasakiTakeda1 The entry you're looking for, Maria Anna Jörger's baptism record, is on the 3rd image (on the bottom of the left page), and in the middle of the 4th image (it starts just under Catharina).
Translation: In the year 1762, on 5th March, I [name of the priest] baptized a child born on the same day, at 6 am, of the married couple Franciscus Jörger, citizen of Baden in Tiergarten, and Catharina Bauman. The child was named Ma Anna (i.e. Maria Anna). The godparents were Mathias Degle, citizen of Baden in Gunzbach, and Aa Ma (i.e. Anna Maria) Jörger.

KamillaKovacs3,
Thank you very much. If it is not too much trouble can you translate the entry for her Maria Anna Jorger's parents. Catherina Baumann and Franciscus Jorger. I believe I included the photos of their entries. Also can you tell me which entry in the index is for Catherina Baumann, Franciscus Jorger and Maria Anna Jorger?
Thank you and much metta,
Masaki

@MasakiTakeda1 These images contain only Maria Anna Jörger's baptism record from 1762, which is the following (I have already translated this one):
Please note that all the entries in the attached images are various baptism records from 1762, therefore they cannot contain the baptism records of Maria Anna Jörger's parents (the parents' baptism records cannot be from the same year as the child's).
The entries you have attached for a Franciscus and a Catharina are other, unrelated baptisms from 1762 (the book contains records of all baptisms from 1762, and Maria Anna Jörger's baptism record is one of them.)

KamillaKovacs3,
Thank you for the clarification. I thought that the Fanciscus and Caterina listed was information about the parents. After clarification I see that is impossible. Thank you for translating the entry for Maria Anna. I appreciate it very much.
Much metta,
Masaki
