Transcription/Translation Request for 1832 Ostfriesland Marriage
Hello all, this is my first post in this forum. I’ve just started researching my German ancestors and have located quite a lot of information already using a combination of Ancestry and FamilySearch. A major branch of my family resided in the area around Weener in Ostfriesland in the 1600s-1800s. The records for this area are a combination of German and Dutch. I’m having a bit of trouble at the moment with one family - specifically, my 3rd great grandmother Hindertje Samuels and her son, my 2nd great grandfather Markus Roze. I’ll post a question about him later.
But first I was wondering would someone be able to transcribe and translate the 1832 marriage record I found in FS for Hindertje Samuels and Hinderk Marcus Roze. I’m not sure if the records are in German or Dutch. My goal at this point is to find out more information about Hindertje’s parents and siblings. I’m hoping there may be some information in the marriage record which will facilitate that goal.
I would really appreciate if someone could send the German (Dutch?) transcription as well as the English translation as I’m trying to learn the key words used in these documents and having the original language is the only way I can do that.
Thank you in advance for your help.
This is the link and I’ll attach a screenshot in case that is easier - please let me know which is preferable so I can send the the preferred source in the future.

Hello Ian,
the record is in German. Transcription:
Hinderk Markus Roze, Sohn von Weil[and].
Translation:
Hinderk Markus Roze, son of the late Markus Berendt Roze, and Mareke (Mazeke?) Hinderks, born at Hampool, Papenburg parish, residing at Stapelmoor, aged 28 years, and Hindertje Samuels, daughter of Samuel Peters and of the still living Antje Fans Kerheler?, born and living at Stapelmoor, aged 28 years, were proclaimed here on the 22 and 29 February and on the 5 February without objection, and were married on 5 February in the afternoon in the church. The consent to this marriage was given orally by the bride's mother to the preacher.
Comments:
There seems to be an error with the date or the third proclamation and the the marriage: it should probably be March, 5th (not February).
Entry of Hampool (now written Hampoel) in Meyers Gazetteer: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10718030
Regarding your question: In general, it is helpful to have not just a screenshot of the entry but also (a link to) the whole page. This is particularly important if the handwriting is difficult to read because it gives additional material for comparison.
