Hello @EthanCrenson,
Translation:
Lautenburg, on the 12th of July 1887.
Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today, the personality of whom is known, the merchant's daughter Saara Aronsohn, residing in Lautenburg, and reported that the merchant Wolf Aronsohn, married with Pauline, née Rosenberg, 67 years old, Jewish religion, residing in Lautenburg, born in Lautenburg, son of the shopkeeper Aron Lewin and his wife Lina, née Abraham, died at Lautenburg in his residence on the 12th of July of the year 1887, in the morning at 5:00 am. The informant stated that she was aware of the death of Wolf Aronsohn, her father, from her own knowledge.
Read aloud, approved, and signed: Sara Aronsohn.
The Civil Registrar: Waldow.
Certified in accordance with the Main Register, [Lauten]burg, on the 12th of July 1887.
The Civil Registrar: [signature].
My comments: The name "Sara" is spelled two ways in this record: "Saara" and "Sara".
These early civil death records rarely included a cause of death, which is the case with this record.
