Hello all,

I would like to request help from the group in translating a marriage record for an ancestor by the name of Valentin Metzmeier. The record is hand written from the 1800s in Germany and is hard for me to read. I believe it to be in kurrent. I would appreciate a transcription into German and a translation into English.

Groom: Valentin Metzmaier, local citizen and shoemaker master, leg. son of local citizen and farmer Joseph Metzmaier and of Maria Magdalena Lorenz

Bride: Maria Agatha Frietsch, leg. daughter of the deceased Anselm Frietsch, citizen and farmer, and of Vufrieg (?) Hebding (?)

Witnesses: local citizen Joseph Jörger, farmer in Thiergarten, and Alois(?) Jörger
