On the 9th of September [1823] in the morning at 6:00 am born and on the 21st [of September 1823] midday at 11:00 am baptized: Franz Rudolph [Kußmaul]. The parents are the local general practioner Mr. Philipp Jakob Kußmaul and his wife Mrs. Louise Katharine, née Böhringer. The baptismal witnesses are: (1) Mr. apothecary Karl Raÿle here. (2) His wife Katharina, née Gaibel. (3) Franz Christoph Becker, "Laubwirth" in Berghausen. (6) His wife Jakobine, née Frommel. (7) Mr. Wilhelm Hoyer, domain/estate administrator in Bretten. (8) His wife name unknown, née Glaser; the latter two [witnesses] were absent.
