Can't identify ancestor's birthplace mentioned on baptismal record
Dear Members,
On Franc Josephus Leopoldus Weeber's baptismal record (May 14) his mother's birthplace is mentioned (first row third column). I know she's from Transylvania, and this record names the town, but I can't figure out its location. I read it as Keyral-Falba. It might be the German name of the place, or can it be a misspelled Hungarian name that is for real something like "Királyfalva", Königsdorf?
My second question: the father, Emericus, is from Trier, and at that time was an Austrian soldier, but what is written after "miles Austriaco"? I read it as "c-something-sareus". Any idea? I guess it stands for a rank.
My third question: I know about Franc Josephus Leopoldus Weeber's two sisters who lived in Hungary. Their death notes say their birthplace is S[ank]t Marein am Pickelbach in the district of Graz in the Austrian state of Styria. However, when I went through the registers in https://data.matricula-online.eu/de/oesterreich/graz-seckau/st-marein-am-pickelbach/ found no data of Josepha (b: c1819) and Hermina (b: c1828) Weeber. (Probably there were other siblings, too.) They were Roman Catholics as Franc and the parents. The reason the records don't show up in the researched registers is that the father, Emericus was in the army. If so, where can the registers dedicated to military members stationed in or near Sankt Marein am Pickelbach be found?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards,

I can only offer a hint for your second question: I believe the word is "caesareus" which translates as "imperial". So Emericus was a soldier in the imperial Austrian army.
Your assumption wrt the first question that the name is a misspelling of Királyfalva seems reasonable. As you probably know this was the Hungarian name of the place called Crăiești in Romanian (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cr%C4%83ie%C8%99ti).

Ulrich, you are definitely right with caesareus. Thank you for that!
There were a couple of towns named Kiralyfalva in Transylvania at that time. Present time Crăiești (Mezőkirályfalva) is certainly one of them. The other one might be Crăiești (Magyarkirályfalva) that is now part of Ádámos (Adămuș). And unfortunately for me there are some additional candidates as well. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to find the Roman Catholic registers of those parishes dated back from the end of the 18th century. The chances are slim, though...
There are still question marks hanging over the registers for military members stationed in Sankt Marein am Pickelbach. Anyone's got any suggestion on that? Thanks in advance!
