In the year 1869 on the 4th of September at 11 pm was born here and baptized on the 5th of September at 6:30 pm by the undersigned: Rosalia, illegitimate daughter of the unmarried Thekla Martin, who is an illegitimate daughter of Franziska Martin from here. Godparents: the local citizen and barrel maker Josef Maier and Genofeva Rebholz maiden name Ott from here. Witnesses: the godfather and Franz Straub, sexton.

I first had a total knee replacement that became infected, so the hardware had to be removed, and I had three cleanout surgeries followed by intense IV antibiotics. In the meantime, cancer was found, resulting in surgery, then chemo and radiation. I am now in recovery and looking forward to more knee surgeries later this year.

Fortunately, dedicated wonderful volunteers have kept the community going so smoothly. I am very grateful for all their work that has allowed me to focus on overcoming my health challenges.
