Gramer or Kramer?
I've hit a roadblock tracing back one line of the family tree. On the marriage license and birth certificate both from 1930 it shows Rosalie Gramer, but on the Militarpak from 1915 it looks like Rosalie Kramer.
I have been unable to locate other documents for a Heinrich Zeuner married to a Rosalie G/Kramer with a son of Alfred Richard Zeuner so I haven't been able to go back further generations for this Zeuner-Gramer line. Other than the Militarpak listing an aunt, Karoline Rinkert, I am at a loss. I know that they got married in Dresden and before that when he got discharged from the German Military in Feb 1919 he went to Dresden and that he entered the military in May 1915. I don't know where to try to search in Kreis Oels to track down the correct mother's line. And surprisingly there are a lot of Heinrich Zeuners.
Do you think the maiden name was Kramer or Gramer? Any other hints? Thank you for any help!

Hello Christy,
I would assume that Gramer is the official spelling since this is how it is written in the birth certificate of the registry office. Kramer sounds similar and is the probably more common name, maybe therefore the entry in the military passport was misheard.
I quickly searched databases but couldn't find birth documents for Rosalie Gramer or Heinrich Zeuner. I did find, however, a death record for Berthold Heinrich Zeuner, 14 day old, who was apparently a younger brother of Alfred Richard. Also in this record the name of the mother is given as Rosalie Gramer.
Translation:
Before the undersigned registrar appeared today, known personally, the married master blacksmith (sic!) Rosalie Zeuner, née Gramer, residing in Hundsfeld and indicated that her son Berthold Heinrich Zeuner, 14 days old, of the Catholic religion, born and residing in Hundsfeld, son of the applicant and her husband Heinrich Zeuner in Hundsfeld, had died at the home of the applicant on August 24, 1900 in the morning at 9:15 a.m.

Thank you for checking. I'll go with Gramer. Frustrating that I can't go back further than 1895.
