England BMD records 1538-1991 including Deaths and Burials

I have found that these databases are full of mis-indexed records, ie Baptisms have been transcribed as Burials, (found whilst researching, records in Kent) and now today I have come across Marriage records, being indexed as Burials, in Hampshire.
This data set is a complete joke, as there is no way to correct the mistakes.
I killed off all of the children in one family, before getting lucky, with being able to view the Burial and Baptism registers, to confirm yes they were Baptised on the dated given and not buried.

Thank you for that insight. It is always wonderful to see the actual images and make a determination for ourselves, I agree.
