You say, "I am having a really difficult time finding any info on him", but checking the reference (ID) you quote above (K6SZ-KKM) shows he has been very well researched, and many sources and relatives attached to him.
Although I would not be able to help personally here, perhaps you might wish to describe the type of further detail you are looking for, in case another member has knowledge of this family, or perhaps the area of his birth (and residence until the 1870s).
