How to deal with adoptions when birth name is known. Would that be a separate tree?

I started my family tree with the surname of my second marriage. (Big mistake)

I know my birth name - should that be a separate family tree?

Then there is my adopted name (from 16 days of age)

Also, first marriage.

How should this confusing family be entered?

I would use your birth name if you are looking for family or your adopted name

Most people I know use their maiden name for their tree but being adopted is more complicated

    it is a personal choice
