Hanß Jacob, Alexander Vrmiß, in der Baregg, ehelicher 21-jähriger Sohn, starb den 30. dito [Augstmonat 1696].
So this is not Alexander's death entry, but his son's: Hans Jakob died at the age of 21 - i.e. born about 1655. Consequently I had to reconsider (and correct) the table on Geneal-Forum: please, exchange this table for the incorrect one on your web page. I had been misled by the fact that Jakob (born 1652) is missing (forgotten - or serving somewhere else?) in the Bevölkerungsverzeichnis 1670.

Completed the exchange.
I am having a problem in that I can't keep track of the Urmi clan. Is there a way to come up with a pedigree chart so people like me who are interested in the family can have a visual of who is related to whom? It could be done on FS but people mess with the tree so much that I find it unreliable, as I am sure you do. Can you keep track of how they are all related in your head? If so you are working at a genius level. Thoughts? .

No - I don't have a pedigree chart ready (one would have to enter all data in an appropriate program). But on the Forum there are seperate posts for all families - always (if data available) linked to parents and children. You can easily "click through".
And you possibly should get used to the Kekule numbering system (basic if you do genealogy in a German speaking region): always the father has the child's number doubled - so e.g. if you have
512) Ulrich Urmi ooI NN, ooII Anna Kueni, ooIII Margaretha Walder
you will easily find the son's family as
256) Alexander Urmi oo 1643 Anna Lüssi
