Newton County, Missouri probate case files
Are there plans to digitize and add more records to the "Newton County, Missouri Probate case files, 1864-1933" record set at https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1022187 so it provides records past file number 3189-3206? According to the catalog page, FamilySearch has 94 reels of microfilm that have been digitized and are available online, but only through Probate case files no. 3189-3206 (roll 2231151), which covers surnames that begin with the letter S. The files are in alphabetical order and the last surname in this roll is Shawver; I'm looking for James A Wells.
The catalog page states that FamilySearch's digitized records are a "Microreproduction of original records at the Missouri State Archives in Jefferson City, Missouri." I checked their website, and based on the County Records on Microfilm page https://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/county/croll, when I check Newton County resources https://www.sos.mo.gov/cmsimages/archives/resources/county/newton.pdf it indicates they have case file numbers 3207-4802 on microfilm.
I would dearly love to check those additional case files online to look for my James A Wells, so I hope there are plans to digitize more of what the the Missouri State Archives has.

Have you tried the contacting the county clerk at the Newton County Courthouse? FamilySearch says that the "County Clerk has marriage, divorce, probate and land records."
I would try emailing them with the name, date, etc. and they may be able to send you the file. Hope that helps!
