Sharing files locally?
Our network is shared with FM and the Missionary office. I have a file that is updated frequently (working file) shared with Service Missionaries. We currently have 18 computers in the FamilySearch Center part of the network. I am adding it to each computer manually. I would like to have it on one unit and have the file accessible by the other computers. Since we cannot have a server for that function (so I was told), can we make the computer discoverable by the other FamilySearch units so they can access the file? I assume the LAN can be subnetted so the three independent offices can be located on their own network so we are not sharing network printers by mistake, etc. Can you do that subnetting function for us remotely?

Windows allows the sharing of folders in the LAN. Your local Tech should be able to change the networking on the FSC Computers to share the folder. The Printers are not shared, only networked, so that should not be an issue.
