On the bottom of a typed form of an extracted marriage certificate (Auszug aus dem Trauregister) where it notes the associated fees it states:

Gebühr 0,60 RM. zuzügl. Nachn.-Spesen. What is the full German word for "Nachn."?

Nachn. = Nachnahme = cash on delivery

According to Thode, German-English Genealogical Dictionary, the abbreviation "Nachn." = Nachnahme = collect on delivery (C.O.D.).
