Bride's hometown?
Hello
I am trying to find a baptism for the bride listed in this marriage record. It looks like it says she is from 'Basdorf, famlata Hoisten'. Any idea what that means?

It says the bride is from Basdorf and is serving in Hoisten. However, I can't find any village called Basdorf in that area.

@Ulrich Neitzel when you say serving do you mean a servant?

Yes, famula (Latin) is a maid.

@Ulrich Neitzel oh ok. So she may be from far away if she is a maid. There is a ‘Badorf’ not too far away. I will look there. The only ‘Basdorf’ I found was near Berlin. I don’t know how likely it would be that she came from that far away. It makes sense now that I haven’t came across that surname while scrolling in the books and none of her family were sponsors on their children’s baptisms. Thanks so much!
