Translation Request Birth Record from Eisenberg, Bavaria
I am researching Maria Anna Holzmann who is listed on her daughter's marriage record( in Bretzingen Buchen Baden) as mother of bride, from "Eisenberg in Bavaria". I also found her death record in Bretzingen Buchen Baden(where the daughter was married) which estimates her birth as 1787 and lists her parents as Joseph Holzmann and Mari Fransiska Nuschel. So I looked in the records from Eisenberg, Bavaria and found a birth record in Zell, Eisenberg, Bayern Bavaria for "An: Maria Holzmann on Oct 7,1786, which matches her estimated birth, and parents names as listed on her death record. It is a little concerning that the name is "An: Maria" instead of "Maria Anna" but everything else matches. I then searched for all the other children of Josephus Holzmann and Franziska Nuschel before and after 1786 and found a list of 7 children all together. Then I found the marriage record of Josephus Holzmann and Franziska Nuschel, 24 January 1775. This is a year and 8 months before their first child was born, 16 Sept 1776. The question I have is that I found another record for the birth of a Maria Anna Holzmann(the exact name I am looking for) on 13 Aug 1775 in the same town, Zell(Eisenberg) Bayern, Germany. The parents are Josephus Holzmann and Ursula Nuschel. (This is the same father as my Maria Ann Holzmann but a different first name for the mother. On my Maria Anna Holzmann's death certificate, the mother is listed as Mari Fransiska Nuschel, but this record says Ursula Nuschel.) The residence listed on this birth record for this Maria Ana is " Ober:Reidden?" or something like that and all the residences on the siblings birth records say something similar that starts with "Ober-R..." but are difficult to read. On this birth record it appears to say something about "Morti" (in latin for death I believe) and it has a death date. So I think this baby died?? I am wondering if the record says if the mother died too? I searched for a death record of an Ursula Holzmann but didn't find one. I also searched for a marriage record of an Ursula to a Josephus Holzmann but didn't find one. I also searched for any other children with a mother named Ursula and a father Josephus Holzmann but didn't find any other children between them in this area. It makes me wonder if the recorder of this birth misheard the mother's name wrong and it wasn't Ursula but rather, Fransiska. This would fit in with the story of this family because Josephus Holzmann and Franziska Nuschel were married 24 Jan 1775 and this baby, Maria Anna, was born about 7 months after, 13 Aug 1775. Then other children were born to the couple in Sep 16, 1776, 2 Jan 1779, 22 Jan 1780, 28 Jul 1781, 16 Aug 1782, 4 Aug 1784, and then An Maria Holzmann born 7 Oct 1786. This is the child that matches the year as estimated on her birth but on other records(her own death record, and on her daughter's marriage and daughter's birth record) her name is Maria Anna Holzmann. I wonder if she might have been born An Maria but her parents called her Maria Anna to honor their first infant by that name who died?
It will help me solve this puzzle if you translate this birth record of the first child, Maria Anna who's mother is listed as Ursula and whose father is listed as Josephus Holzmann. Does it say anything about Ursula dying or just the child? Secondly, if you are able to give me any insight as to the probability that maybe the clerks made a mistake and the mother should have been listed as Fransiska and not Ursula since I can find no other record with the name Ursula, no marriage record or death record or birth record of other children near this time period. Thank you for your help.

The record is not accessible, at least not for me. It says:

Okay. Here is a screen shot of the record. Can you translate this?

Here is what I can read and translate:
Born: 13 August added later: died 22 October 1775
Name: Maria Anna; B. was baptized in Seegg, __ her mother suddenly ___ in Hirschbihl, parish of Seegg.
Parents: Joseph[us] Holzmann and Ursula Nuschel[in] his wife from Oberreitten
Sponsor: Maria Anna Köpf[in] from Jensch (or Tensch?)
Priest: ?.J.D. Jos(eph?) Eisen, Par[ochus] in Seegg
Comments:
I am unable to fully read/translate the Latin sentence under the name Maria Anna. Especially the last word (probably the verb) is very unclear. The meaning might be that the mother died suddenly and the child was therefore baptized at a different parish. If this is the case, Ursula would not have had any more children. It is also possible that Joseph Holzmann married a sister of Ursula after her death, and that the name of this sister is Franziska. I think it is rather unlikely to confuse or mishear the name Franziska as Ursula.
The order of given names was not very fixed in the past. Depending on which name was used as "calling" name the order may have changed over life time.
The place "Seegg" is probably "Seeg" in Meyers: https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20789008
"Hirschbihl" might be "Hirschbühl": https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/10801026
"Oberreitten" is possibly "Oberreithen": https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/20383026

Thank you very much. I like your idea that Ursula might be a sister and first wife to Joseph. I will research the records again and see if I can find a birth record for an Ursula about 20 years before Maria Anna was born.
