I want to know if this infant is a boy or a girl
Attached is a record from 1765 listing deaths. The one I'm looking for is in March and the parents names are Josephi Fras and Magarethae Hoffman. It's the 2nd entry on the left hand side. They had a child who died, I think, before he was christened, and he/she wasn't given a name. Could you tell me if the baby was a boy or a girl? Thank you.

As far as I can see the child is only termed infans which is Latin for baby without specification if male or female. The only hint may be the term sepultus fuit = was buried which should be sepulta fuit for a female if I am correct. So probably a boy.

Thank you, Mr. Neitzel, for your help! This will help me a lot in reading a record from a parish book.
