Name of a town
The record in question is for Franz Heinrich Jasper, 2nd from the bottom. In back of the mother's name it says "kötter in ? Could that village name be Hüde? The first letter doesn't look like an "H". I have other sources that says he was born in Hüde, but this first letter is unclear to me. The scribe doesn't seem to be writing his "H" that way in other places on this page.
What's your thoughts, please? THANKS

I would read "Hüde".
The writer uses two different scripts - modern "Latin" for names and old "German" for other text - unfortunately not following a strict system. Here we have a "Latin H" for Heinrich and a "German H" für Hüde.
You'll find some info on Kötter here.
