Maria Anna Metzmaier - Christening Record - Translation help
Hello all,
I would like to ask the community for help translating a christening record for an ancestor named Maria Anna Metzmaier. It is from 1807 and is is a handwritten latin script i believe. As it is very hard for me to read I would appreciate someone knowledgeable translating it into English for me. If possible the latin transcription would also be appreciated.
Much Metta,
Masaki

Anno Domini millesimo octingentesimo septimo die vigesima quinta Januarii
R. D. Joannas Haug Parochi infra scripti vicarius baptizavit infantem pridie
Hora Sexta vespertina natam ex Josepho Metzmejer et Maria Anna Jergerin
conjugibus legitimis et civibus Badenae in Gunzenbach. Nomen infanti im-
positum Maria Anna. Matrina fuit Maria Anna Ri[?]ingerin uxor
Joannis Joergen civis ibidem in Thiergarten. Ita testor Josephus
Lechleitner Custos et Parochus Ecclesiae collegiatae ad Sanctam Mariam in
coelos assumptam Badenae.
Translation:
In the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred seven on January twenty-fifth
[R. D.] Johann Haug, vicar of the parish mentioned below, baptized the infant born the day before
at six o’clock in the evening of Joseph Metzmeier and Maria Anna Jerger
legal spouses and citizens of Baden in Gunzenbach. The infant was given the name
Maria Anna. The godmother was Maria Anna Ri[?]inger, wife
of Johann Joergen citizen there in Thiergarten. Thus I testify Joseph Lechleitner guardian and pastor of the collegiate church at Ascension of the Holy Mary Baden.
I'm not sure what the "R.D." stands for, possibly revered Lord.
