Translation:
On the 17th of April [1739] Ulrich Hochstädter, a dairyman and milker near the local dairy here, was buried, aged 72 years and 8 months.

Thank you! One of the missing words is "melcker" or milker, which I assume to mean "dairy man", not literally someone who just milks cows…. Funny that he is still identified as a "Swiss" when he resided in the vicinity since at least 1724 and sponsored numerous baptisms in the local church before dying in that parish (Herbitzheim Protestant Church)! He died in 1739….

I've edited my post to include the missing "words" which is actually one word "melcker" = melker = milker.
I've seen at least one definition of "Melker" which states: in the dairy industry, the person responsible for the business of milking and milk preparation.

Note that "Schwei(t)zer" is actually a job title for a dairy worker, as these specialists often came from Switzerland, but was later also used to refer to dairy workers who were not Swiss citizens.

Thanks again, Robert! This family was spread out between Saar Alban (Willerwald) and Alsace (Keskastel, Herbitzheim 1720-1750), a ten minute drive today, but a record feast in one area and record desert in the other. Really just in the countryside in the vicinity of those towns. Anything from these records is invaluable…
There may also have been some travel back and forth to Switzerland…

Given @Ulrich Neitzel's comment about the word "Schwei(t)zer", I've edited my original response and changed the word "Swiss" to "dairyman", which is more in line with what you were thinking.
