Will there be any more scans of books for births in Mexico?
I have been trying to find the birth registration of my great grandfather for some time. I was able to locate his christening through the catalog but not his birth registration. Is the book even out there? I was also able to find his marriage information. he was born on October 8 of 1928 as stated on his christening record.

If they were married by the church and this record says 'hija legítima', start at this year and roll backwards until you hit it. If the collection isn't online, at least you'd have an upper bounds for use in contacting the church directly. See if you can find birth registrations of his other children or of his siblings' children. I've used both to extend my tree significantly.

As a general rule, births within the last 100 years are not online. It depends on the record holder (the Mexican state) and their contract with FamilySearch. FamilySearch does not give advance notice of what records may become available.
You might keep a watch on future indexing projects for an idea of what may be coming. Or check the "Images" section periodically where new records may become available without indexing.

Another thing i have been trying to look for is my great great grandfathers marriage information. His name was Francisco Medrano born 1890. he married Atanacia Hernandez born 1896. parents Emeterio Medrano and Maria Paz Perez and Dionicio Hernandez and Felipa Garcia. The only clues that i have is through birth registrations of the child Maria Leonides Medrano Hernandez. where it states that they were only married by the church at the time. But who knows when that was. any help is greatly appreciated.
The ages mentioned are incorrect as Francisco was 35 at the time he turned 35 the day prior to this event. and atanacia was 29.
